When Organized and Unorganized Militias Collide

The Carroll National Guard unit will train on urban military operations by holding a four-day exercise at Arcadia.

The purpose of the April 2-5 drill will be to gather intelligence, then search for and apprehend a suspected weapons dealer, according to Sgt. Mike Kots, readiness NCO for Alpha Company. [More]
Why?

What are they training for in terms of real life?

Since when is firearms law enforcement the province of our military? And they even are calling in a Blackhawk?

What the hell is going on here?

And a combat brigade is "helping people at home".

  2. David you seemed a little shocked to see this. Think back to the last two weeks when I sent you the raid information that had the FBI and 9 other LE agencies. With a black hawk over head. They are running these op's all over the country. Because they are going to shit can the Constitution and do the dirty deed. They will put the men in FEMA camps and their woman and children in another. Not only do we have these training op's going on all over but we have cameras looking in every direction at most of our intersections.
This isn't about gun rights as much as waking up people and in a hurry because they are going to murder us by the millions.
All of this is going on a the fat morons stay put in front of the big 50 incher.

  3. you know what they're training for. We should make it realistic for them. Perhaps they should have to shoot their own parents in preparation for the events for which they are training. Psychological training is important too if they are to be expected to suppress the American public. Perhaps some waterboarding for their wives, and maybe a dead child or two, their own for now, after all these are the people volunteering to do it. Let's make as realistic for them as they are training to make it for us.

Somehow I think if they looked at it from the other end of the gun, the one they are shoving in our faces, their idea of its acceptability would be wholly different. But maybe not. I didn't of any resistance to this abomination coming from any of our NGH's (National Guard Heroes)

  4. OK, I will try to look on the good side here and say they are dealing with urban problems in Iraq now and need to train for that. Arms dealer or terrorist whatever you want to call him.

    Could go either way.

Just want to look at both sides here

  5. I worked a two day job with a former Army infantryman who was stationed in Bosnia back in the late 90's.

This sounds just like what he described doing while there. They would "develop" intelligence, then apprehend suspected arms dealers and militia fighters and search their homes.

Also, if you have noted, some of the Milblogs report that possession of arms is forbidden in Afghanistan. Supposedly, they want to be able to "sort out" ACF (Anti-Coalition Forces) without having to interrogate them - just shoot on sight if armed.

  6. WHY would they possibly need to TRAIN for something that they've BEEN DOING for years now in Iraq, Afghanistan, Balkans, and other locations?

  7. To get the local populace used to seeing the equipment?
If they think "Gee...it's just more training", then they'd be less apt to come to the help of all the "Phil Gordons" out there while it was happening.

  8. Not only get people used to seeing it. But to also train the military and police together to do the dirty deed.
The thing that I just can't get a grip on is why these poeple don't understand that they are destroying the country for their children and their children's children. The greatest and best place to live the world has ever seen and these idiots want to destroy it because they want that easy parasite paycheck.
There is only one reason these training operations are going on and that is to put the American people under the Iron Marxist fist of the international bankers.

  9. Does anyone think they've got another year or two to get out of the cities?

Might be a good time to pack... light... and hit the road out of Dodge.

  10. A lot of folks don't have the means to just pack up and leave. Let alone a place to go. While a bugout plan is a must, the actual bugging out is a bit easier said than done.

  11. The anti-freedom fascists should study about wars of resistance and People's Wars, like the one in China from 1946-1949 before they attempt to grind their filthy boots into the Constitution. Chiang Kai-Shek thought the grey uniformed "rabble" living in the mountains were going to be easy targets. Boy was he wrong. Too bad he was never arrested and brought back to the Mainland to stand trial for the massacres he carried out at Shanghai, Chungking, and Guangzhou. App. 100,000 political opponents, including democrats and capitalists/individualists were murdered by Chiang from 1927-1948

For every Phil Gordon, there are probably 10 Charlie Quintards. Before 1993 and the people discovered Waco rules, this equation was not in effect, and indeed, 340 innocent American citizens were massacred in cold blood. After 1993, it is obvious that Waco rules are how the murderers like to do things. Another unintended consequence. Charlie Quintard is perhaps the most determined and fearless fighter you can ever meet. He is someone who lost loved ones, friends, or family to thuggery, and only cares about revenge afterward. Charlie Quintard is a direct unintended consequence that comes out of a Phil Gordon (an innocent person targeted and killed simply for speaking out).

So before anyone attempts to terrorize the American people, they should ask themselves this question: Are they ready to face the unpleasant realities of war? Are they ready to confront the loved ones of all those they kill or brutalize? And keep in mind, these loved ones of victims are not out to seek a lawsuit, they will be out to seek revenge.

  12. Very well written. I just wonder when "All enemies foreign *and* domestic" will be stricken from the oaths they take, to be replaced by something like "I'll tell you who the enemies are" or some such....

  13. Why don't they send NG units FROM URBANIZED STATES THAT HAVE MOUT TRAINING FACILITIES? Or send the Iowa NG units to those states' NG training facilities?
After reading about the multijurisdictional raid on "an illegal firearms seller suspect" with an Army Blackhawk hovering, I am inclined to think the worst.
There will come a time when it will be unwise to be wearing the same uniform as people who do bad things, whether you're doing them or not. Some SS and SA personnel were typists, drivers, cooks. Still part of the machine.
I wonder about those citizens volunteering to role-play and have their homes and vehicles searched. Suppose the troops find something they forgot they had? Suppose the troops go to the wrong address?
I googled "illegal guns blackhawk" and found that there's a Project Blackhawk. NYC and other big cities are using helicopter surveillance to interdict the "illegal gun" trade. One of your local TV news operations probably has one of those amazing skycams with the 1,000-1 zoom and internal stabilization. They've been using single-engine planes with infrared cameras for years.

  14. Iowa has a MOUT facility:

Also, it is only 80 miles away from the Carroll location planned for the exercise.

  15. Seemingly this operation has been called off. However the folks at the Iowa National Guard are saying they will do this but on much smaller scale.
No military operations with police, none whatsoever is legal or to be tolerated by freedom loving citizens. I'm a little upset that this didn't go forward because the protest that would have gone on during this training attack on the Constitution and freedom would have been very rewarding. No question there would have been many tens of thousands of protesters and that would have got the word out to many that their freedom is under attack. This would have been a huge wake up call to many and just what we need.
So this kind of operation is going to go on but much smaller. Folks, remember two weeks ago we had such an operation in Boise Idaho with 10 agencies going after a soft target. This operation had a black hawk for the command post in the sky, the whole nine yards. This kind of training is being staged to attack citizens who live their lives in a lawful way. Tomorrow new laws, un-Constitutional laws will be passed to make lawful citizens criminals. This will subject them to attacks by criminals doing the work of the international bankers.
btw/ any of ya'll notice there's not a source to buy ak ammo at. The government has frozen all the shipments in port and will not allow it to be processed and sent to its owner whom have paid for it. Read back to David's posting from the Shot Show. These criminals are moving fast.
