Police Report Says Priest Wielded Unknown Object; But Cop On Tape Knows It’s A Camera [More]So in other words, in addition to being an "Only One" thug, someone's also an "Only One" liar.
Hey, Officer David Cari--what would happen if someone brought a camera up to East Haven and followed you--specifically--around. Maybe did a web documentary...?
Got a problem with that?

In every community with a law enforcement mentality such as this each group needs to establish a phone tree. That phone tree needs to be for people who will show up at scenes such as this armed and resolute in their intent to stop the abuse at the scene, no matter what it takes to do it. This shit isn't going to stop with complaints up the chain of command. If that would work, this crap wouldn't be happening in the first place. DUH!
ReplyDeleteI think the bigger issue is the official mouthpiece for the police, Hugh Keefe, who said this:
ReplyDelete"You've got to conclude that he was out there with a video camera in an attempt, in my view, to provoke the police to do something," Keefe said. "If his goal was to attempt to stop the perceived harassment of the Hispanic community in East Haven by the police department, why didn't he go to the mayor's office?"
So the police seems to feel that if you're out there taking pictures of cops behaving badly, you're being provocative?
