My humble opinion is troops were called in because the government believed McLendon might have been the point man in some kind of militia action in response to ... gee, I don't know, THE NEWS? The news that we've all been seeing for about 6 months, billion-dollar investment fraud by big contributors to politicians and golden parachutes and bailouts for the fraudsters (McLendon lost a couple of jobs recently, though he was described as a good solid worker and nice person), and all the other insults and injuries The People have had inflicted on them?
