Like Listening to an Old Comrade

“It was almost like listening to an old friend,” said Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Il.), adding that he found Castro’s home to be modest and Castro’s wife to be particularly hospitable. [More]
Who all wants to disarm for Bobby?

  1. He also said that "Castro was the lone survivor".
You have to ask, "lone survivor" from what?
The answer is, from the United States the land of evil, the land of the free and big and small business. These people are hard core Marxist at heart and you have to hear what they say because they say they are Marxist and hate the United States as an evil place.

  2. The free world should send the IL reps and senators back, then put mines around Illinois. Let them hoist the red flag.

They can have their trojan horse POTUS back too, perhaps?

  5. First - how do these "anointed ones' get by, year after year, calling themselves the "BLACK Caucus"??? If we had a "White Congressional Congress" wouldn't all the libtard commies pee their panties howling, "Ooooh - racist, racist!" , as excited as Barney Frank at a Jonas Brothers concert?

Second - I heard the male member (!) of the group trying to talk, on Rush today... the man sounds like he became terminally addicted to barbiturates and painkillers right after having all his teeth pulled... I mean, I understood maybe four of his words, the rest, was "Augg urlm berrguh mrbb eraaahvvv..."

Third - It is obvious that the old commie pervert was taking them for imbeciles, playing his race card, "Oh, can you send me materials about the great Dr. King? He was my hero!".. the question is, are theyr eally so stupid that they believed it, or are they just playing along to keep the agenda rolling?
I still say we should handle Gitmo, Castro and Cuba all at once. Airlift our people out, and early next day, nuke the place out of this dimension. Later we could let Asswipe Hussein Obama offer his gutless apologies to the remaining commies of the world.

  6. Rush isn't kidding, and he isn't really having a slip of the tongue, either. He really is that fond of Castro and that nostalgic for Peoples' Republics. Sheesh.

  7. I listened to Barbara Lee [D, CA-9] talk about going to Fidel Castro's house at a meeting in Phoenix earlier today. I don't think it makes any difference what was discussed. Lee reports that Castro wanted a copy of Letter from a Birmingham Jail in Spanish.

Jeff Flake [R, AZ-6] went to Cuba too. I think the government of Cuba worries more about freedom infecting their country (after all socialism fungus is pretty common here in the US). I endorse open travel to and from Cuba. I've met one Cuban in person so far and he had nothing good to say about the country's government and economic system.

If people from the US can travel to Cuba what are they going to say other than "Why do you have 40 year old cars?" and "Can't you people paint your homes?"

I don't think anybody has a cure for communism when it comes to North Korea and Cuba. The cure certainly isn't a continued travel and commerce embargo (although I oppose any commercial guarantees by the US Import/Export Bank).
