"The concept might not be a bad concept, but I think there are a lot of flaws," Sen. Tom Libous, whose district includes Binghamton, said of the five-year license renewal plan. [More]It's a terrible concept, Tom. You'd think someone with an A rating from NRA would realize that.
Then again, maybe not...
And we know how persuasive those democrats can be.

"To counter that, Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel, D-Long Island, who is sponsoring the microstamping bill in the chamber, has been reaching out to law enforcement groups for support, noting that the technology is primarily used in crime-solving."
ReplyDelete"noting that the technology is primarily used in crime-solving."
Where is microstamping used at all? Where is it used to solve crime?
I have found lately that I cannot finish reading stories such as this. I have no interest in who is doing what on the political scene, I don't care about the analysis of it nor the political remedies, nor any explanations.
ReplyDeleteI, at first, couldn't fathom my sudden and complete disinterest. Then, like a bolt out of the blue, it hit me. I don't care, because no matter what they do or say or attempt to physically perform, I am not going to comply. I will not cooperate and if forced to action, that action will be physical resistance in the real world. I don't care to win their hearts and minds. They have proven to be heartless and their minds are viciously defective.
I will settle for them leaving me alone. However, if they cannot manage that I will have to think in terms of what actions on their physiology will gain for me the most acceptable outcome.
I'm outmatched and I know it. I don't care about that anymore eitheer. I am tired of hearing the same old tune, let's dance and get it over with.
Good one, straightarrow.
ReplyDeleteI remember a man who strapped a jet-assisted takeoff rocket to his car out in the desert. It did. The coroner's report said he wore out his brakes AND tires before becoming totally airborne and heading for a cliff face. "At this point he was no longer an active participant in the event."
Got THAT right.
They have struck the match and are perilously near the fuse.
