I find it more offensive to suggest that the people it is about are the "Only Ones" who can be trusted with guns and the rest of us can not be.
Trained in aggression, "command presence," intimidation. When someone doesn;t play along, it's like an actor not "selling" the Vulcan neck pinch on Star Trek.

I'm glad he won't be needing that heart now. It would really piss me off to pass on a heart transplant because of my age (wouldn't get near enough use out of it to justify denying it to someone else) so that some jackass like him could have one.

Having a bad heart doesn't make one an asshole. We manage that well before the heart goes bad. So, why was it mentioned in the article.
