Celebrate it with a lovely traditional pit-roasted pig. Much speculation on the 'Net over whether Hawaii has a Buddhism Day, a Judaism day, or a similar resolution for any other religion. I just bet it went something like this:
"Honor our historic religion of peace, or you'll be sorry."
Majority-Muslim countries generally don't allow the PRACTICE of competing religions, much less name a day in their honor. Sign of WEAKNESS akin to the one that says HOLLYWOOD. Huge.
Hey, Falun Gong was shut out of an Asian festival here because they're -- ANTI-CHINA! Apparently they kidnap Communist Party officials, torture them and steal their vital organs. Beat them with bamboo rods and soak them in ice water until they renounce Mao. Oh, sorry, it's quite the other way around. Still banned by freedom-loving Chinese immigrants here in America, because you can't love your country and not love your governmnet, like Bill Clinton said.
Ok, now let's see if the declare a Judaism Day, Catholic Day, Protestant Day or combine the two just into Christian Day.
Of course then there's Buddhism Day, Shinto Day, and Confucious Day, oh, wait Confucionism is not a religion so much as a code of ethics. They'll never go for that.
