Boundaries Exceeded

In the unlikely event that a deer is wounded outside the park and then enters the park boundary, what are the procedures for making sure the animal does not go to waste? [More]
Anybody remember the feds passing a Mandated Animal Suffering Act...?

  1. Quite simple Just call peta and they will bring their death van I mean their rescue wagon out to recover the deer and help its suffering

  2. In Oregon, you would call the NP supervisor, and ask permission to go into the park to harvest the wounded animal.

When he denies it, you should then turn in that supervisor for wasting game meat, a felony in Oregon.

Not sure if the ODFW will do anything about it, but it would still be amusing.

In both responses by DF&W it was stated that the OSP officer's decision on what he thought you might have been doing would be the determining factor in whether or not you had committed a felony. No mention of the law being the determining factor except to say he would not be responsible unless and OSP officer decided otherwise despite the law. What the Hell kind of law enforcement is that and what weak ass sonofabitch would stand for it? Evidently the kind that become ODFW officers.

  5. But what would Bambi and Thumper think?
And is there a fence at the boundary?
