The Second Amendment Foundation, The Calguns Foundation and four California residents today filed a lawsuit challenging a California state law and regulatory scheme that arbitrarily bans handguns based on a roster of “certified” handguns approved by the State. [More]Very good.
I hope they can win this, then maybe we can get rid of the roster in MA too

that would be nice. i would like nothing more than to burn a copy of the regulations right on coakley's doorstep.
ReplyDeleteNow these are the kind of incrementalists I can applaud, respect and admire. They didn't go, hat in hand, begging. They won't meekly go away because some politician or bureaucrat denied them.
ReplyDeleteThey have taken the offense in this war on guns. These people are shifting, not only the momentum, but its direction. Unlike some of our pragmatists. Yeah, those pragmatists. The ones who any day now will be saying Gura and company are ruining it for self-styled 2A advocacy leaders such as themselves. Uh huh, those people who don't want gun rights advocates at their 2A blog bash.
You know, those "leaders" who warn against campaigning against the opposition and for your own stated goals because it may upset them.
This may bode well for many states like MA where this capricious nonsense has gone on for far too long.
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled I just re-uped my SAF membership$.
GO GET EM' Alan!!!
