As Long as We're Scrutinizing...

The Vatican is quietly conducting two sweeping investigations of American nuns, a development that has startled and dismayed nuns who fear they are the targets of a doctrinal inquisition. [More]
I don't suppose you guys have a couple minutes to devote to Snuffy...?

  1. No surprise there. The chief nun in Berkley doesn't want any of the nuns to talk to investigators because they've been conducting themselves as political organizers for communist front groups, as they have been busily doing in Africa for decades. When the dance was going on between South-West Africa, South Africa, and Rhodesia, the nuns were instrumental in getting blood and medical supplies to the Cubans and other communist orgs. there. Not to ordinary people, but to troops. The Berkley gang supported it wholeheartedly, and collected funds to do more. Been that way ever since. A few, but not all, American Catholic nuns, never met a communist or communist cause they didn't like. Back in the 50's the Russians and such saw the effectiveness of the Catholic Church in opposing communism anywhere it sprang up, and sent their people, as usual, to infiltrate and destroy the Church. Witness the pedophile priests, the Berrigan Brothers, and the nuns, few as do remain. After getting in bed with the Nazis, and then the Communists, I'm suprised anyone walks through the doors of a church anymore.

  2. The Second Vatican Council has led to Nuns behaving like communist radicals and not like Nuns?

Jeppers, then Vatican II was a good thing, right?

    Abandoning tradition strengthens our doctrine...right?

    Newthink can replace Oldthink!

  3. Fr. Pfleger is mostly just a gas bag. if my experiences are any indication, the stuff errant nuns are peddling is FAR more insidious and damaging than the worst of Fr. Pfleger.

Sean, you should perhaps reexamine your Nazi connection theories...

strictly speaking Vatican II was ok. however, its implementation has something to be desired. think of it like the Constitution. great theory, but poorly implemented, blatantly ignored or deliberately subverted.
