Sounds Reasonable

"Reasonable restrictions" are not "infringements." [More]

Tom Mauser said it.

I believe it.

That settles it.

Right?

Also, War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery and Ignorance is Strength.

Sound reasonable?

  1. "Tom Mauser is a spokesman and board member for Colorado Ceasefire and the father of Columbine High School shooting victim Daniel Mauser."

(I wonder if he is related to Paul Mauser of 1898 fame!?)

Tom Mauser's botched logic is no reason to deny him celebrity status. He has supreme moral authority because his kid got shot.

If instead, his son had suffered the misfortune of getting run over by a truck, Mr. Mauser would likely find himself appointed to the editorial board of "Car and Driver" magazine.

Don't let society's descent into madness distract you from the work at hand, David. Just keep fighting the good fight.

Obviously Mr. Mauser is an idiot. That he is a celebrity idiot is an indication of decline of intelligence, courage, honor, logic, and the meaning of words in the English language.

His arrogant ignorance makes him a danger to a free society. If we lock him away in solitary confinement where he can do no harm can we redefine such action as proctection of him? Why the Hell not?

  3. People in general are afraid to stand up and yell "BS" to someone whose child was shot. I suppose for fear of hurting their feelings. Yet, this "man" and his advocacy guarantee more innocent shooting victims. That is despicable.

  4. These deluded parents are the boomer
    generation, we should recall. Some
    posturing early on about "questioning
authority" but not enough equipment, native or educational to do so adequately. Hopes and wishes reign supreme. all the best, cycjec

Let us not forget that is was people just like Tom Mauser who facilitated the murder of his son. Now, he is one of those people. wanting desperately to share his grief with the parents of other murdered children as a result of his efforts.
