It may be nostalgia speaking this morning, but to me "El Presidente" will always be the skill test popularized by Jeff Cooper: three steels, 3 yards apart, 10 yards away. Starting with back to targets, on signal turn, draw, and "hammer" (two shots) each target, speedload, and "hammer" each target again. Total twelve shots, one reload, a 180-degree turn, and a draw. Par score is 6-8 seconds with good hits, and it's hard to do that if you haven't been to class.
