Never in Her Wildest Dreams

When Sally Harpold bought cold medicine for her family back in March, she never dreamed that four months later she would end up in handcuffs. [More]
Of course she never dreamed it.

Only a fascist would.

The kind who would use the Nuremberg defense:
“I’m simply enforcing the law as it was written,” Alexander said.
We've laughed a bit at the Brits today. It's not like large swaths of our own republic aren't under the thumb of tyranny-enabling martinets.

  1. I show crap like this everyday to my sons, and remind them they live in a police state. And then I remind them they have to do something about it. III.

  3. Police state is a fair view on this kind of crap.
They have called a war on the citizens. If people want to do drugs and kill themselves, so be it. If they get messed up and drive and injury or kill someone. The overtime bells ring for the parasites to milk the taxpayers. Its all about arresting people to feed parasites. End of story.

The law was intended to punish people pre-crime. Why have not all those sonsofbitches enforcing it been shot out of office by the decent people?

Answer: Because as a people we are too damn scared. It's that simple. Didn't happen to me, I'll just pull my head in a little deeper and hope they don't notice me doing nothing wrong.

  5. "Alexander offered her the deferral program, in which Harpold is required to pay the court costs, abide by all laws and not be arrested for 30 days. At the end of 30 days, the class-C misdemeanor will be erased from her record."

Yeah, sure. And, the first chance Sen. Laugh-en-burger gets he will make any conviction on misdemeanor drug charges retroactive to the date of creation and this woman and her entire family will be automatic felons if they own or possess a firearm.

  6. Meth labs, don't you know? Never mind the real labs are located in Mexico, and the drugs are smuggled into the U.S. -- oh never mind the facts.

    Punish allergy sufferers.
