A Promising Campaign

A Greenville man plans to launch his political campaign for adjutant general Saturday by giving away an AK-47 assault rifle. [More]
Bad terminology by the "Authorized Journalist" notwithstanding, that's pretty cool.

I wonder how candidate Dean Allen would do with this...?

I think I'll ask him.

    “I’m not worried about people that legally own weapons,” Allen said. “I’m worried about people that get them illegally without meeting all these criteria.”

    If he supports requirements that one meet "all these criteria" to own a gun, my guess is that he won't do all that well on the poll.

    I hope he surprises me.
