I'm just glad she didn't turn them in to the cops for a gift card or some bs and that they didn't get melted down.

ReplyDeleteTed- no. People who don't know the first thing about guns have no business handling them.
And I put as much of the blame here on the "authorized journalists" who posed her for their story. And they're putting out this gun handling imagery to a general readership that doesn't know about gun safety either, so the message they're propagating is you can pose with guns and have your fingers on the triggers.

ReplyDeleteShe can be all smiles now, but the IRS is about to take a huge cut of her windfall (not to mention the auctioneering fees).
i'm not surprised anybody has the money for such a precious item, but, i am surprised that it's a mortgage banker -- and i'm further surprised that he believes he has $130k to blow on collecting antiques.

$130,000 should just about cover her legal fees after she is indicted for unlawful possession of firearms in NYC.
