Anthony P. Mauro, Sr., the head of the New Jersey Outdoor Alliance, thinks I have a "vivid imagination and a pricey laptop," and that, apparently, has more bearing on my calling out their endorsement of Chris Christie than, say, his sending out a campaign mailer lying about "assault weapons" and calling for them to be banned.
I've invited him to respond and promised him a column if he does.
See his initial objections in comments here.
Christie was on Hannity the other night and you'd think the Brady Campaign was his proctologist by the way he was puppeting their language, "common sense gun laws".
ReplyDeleteBy all means love where you live but don't lie to yourself about the environment you live in. So most GOP that come out of the northeast are going to be liberal lights or worse (re: O. Snowe).
So yeah GOP keep up with that "big tent" idea so that you'll finally go the way of the Whigs and people that actually care about liberty and personal rights can start their own party.
The guy was a Federal prosecutor. What more do we need to know?
ReplyDeleteWho? Mauro?
ReplyDeleteDavid,
ReplyDeleteBob McDonnell has now selected Bill Mims to join his transition team.
Perhaps later, McDonnell might include Mims in his administration.
