I've typed in and discarded half a dozen comments--they are all inadequate. I guess Charlton Heston said it best.
And all paid for by the taxpayers, who, if they saw it, would never agree to it. But hide it in govt. funding, and sing a sob story or two about broken-down hookers and old thieves, and there it is.
