A Good Question

Should the Castle Doctrine be negated because one does not have the money to get a permit? [More]
Knoxville Gun Rights Examiner Liston Matthews thinks not.

Just think of the arrogance of some damned bureaucrat telling you that you have to get his permission and pay a fee before he'll allow you to have the means of defense protect your life.

And then, of course, you'll need to make sure you only do it in places where he'll let you.
