Since in England they are unable to "shoot, shovel, and shut up", perhaps they need to "beat to death with a cricket bat" before "shoveling and shutting up". Really, why on earth would you allow the burglar to live and then call the cops when you KNOW what the result will be? Maybe other people will learn from the example the "judge" set.
Until those people start adorning their lampposts with the rotting corpses of judges, members of parliament and cops who perpetrate this crap, they are gettin exactly what they deserve.
England has become an appalling joke. Consistently, the law-abiding are thrown into gaol, while the yobs and criminals go about as they please. And the powers that be do not care, as they are isolated (for now) from the consequences of their actions.
I used to joke that a couple friends and I could take over England. The joke isn't so funny now.
People wonder why there was the American Revolution to rid us of their nonsense, with the BOR to clearly spell out the limitations on the succeeding government.
