New laws granting employees the right to keep guns in their vehicles at work...[More]Tripped right out of the starting gate, didn't ya?
I love these "experts."
I can't help but wonder--should an active shooter burst in on them during one of their pronouncements from on high, just what the hell Anna Winningham, Tim Garcia, or James F. Pastor, Ph.D., J.D, would be able to do about it...?
Besides die.

Where is the "question" of whether the guns in the hands of the employees might STOP an "active shooter"? Or, do they assume that companies only hire evil, mean-spirited, barely-human troglodytes who are just looking for an excuse to snap and go on a killing rampage. Must be "projection".
ReplyDelete"Am I reprimanding someone with a gun in their car?"
ReplyDeleteHah. Because we all know that just because someone has a firearm, they are going to shoot you the first time you criticize them.
Makes me want to put together my own presentation with the tentative title of "Liaising With the Sheepdogs in Your Employ"
ReplyDeleteAsk Suzanna Hupp about the effectiveness of guns left in cars.

The guys who would actually become those "active shooters" are not going to worry about a law against having their guns in the first place, of course!
ReplyDeleteThere isn't a single, rational idea in that whole thing.
Too bad common sense and intelligence can't be legislated.
I have actually been laid off while legally carrying a concealed weapon on my body. I was laid off from another job with my firearm legally stored in my car (that building had a 30.06 sign posted). While I was angry about being laid off, at no time did I even have a passing thought of using the tool on my belt or in my car.
ReplyDeleteAs all of us here know, law abiding folks legally carrying firearms are so rarely a threat as to be statistically irrelevant.
Business "Intelligence" my ***.
