The truth is, many in the public will remain terrified of seeing someone armed who is not wearing a uniform. It does not matter if you are nicely dressed or if your gun is more conventional-looking--whatever that means. In much of the Republic, hoplophobia runs strong. ReplyDeleteWhile bammy and Napalitano, et al, are all wee wee'd up over the finest members of our country, church going, right wing veterans, muslims are once again on the war path.
perhaps people would feel safer if they saw any kind of uniform clothing or accessory at all. you could start with something small, like a patch.
