We're the Only Ones Unidentified Enough
Heilman’s friends, who had been in the car with him, said there was a fight and Heilman was winning, but he was backing away when Waldron pulled his gun. They said no one knew Waldron was a Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Department investigator working undercover. They said Waldron didn’t identify himself until after he shot. [More]I don't know why the debate on charges. Sounds like it's all within acceptable "Only Ones" protocol to me...

Blaming the Gun Laws
Fort Hood Reminds Us: Our Gun Laws Are a National Disgrace [More]Some times, no more rebuttal is needed than this: Bite me, Bill Mann. Useful idiot punk.
Figures he posts at a site called dcweasels.
Looks like some of the HuffPo comment posters aren't buying his line of subversive crap either.
Good. Maybe he'll cry.

Blaming the Gun
Oh, if only he hadn't had a gun that can kill! [More]
Translation: Oh, if only you didn't have any guns!
Never missing an opportunity to dance in fresh blood, I see the Bradys are dusting off their old lies. The antis have been after the FN for some time, and the "Authorized Journalists" are either pleased to accommodate, or too ignorant to know how uninformed they are and too lazy to rectify that. I even saw on Faux News a couple days back they referred to it as 5.7 caliber, and I was wondering how much a round would weigh...

No Questions Asked

Police asked residents in the future to call ahead if they have any unusual items such as hand grenades or mortars. [More]
So in other words, these stupid gun "buybacks" actually endanger the public rather than make us safer? Of course, the same holds true for expecting people who have not had firearms training to pick up, transport and deliver guns safely. Encouraging that--without question--is tremendously dangerous and irresponsible. This, to me, is an argument we need to use more to monkeywrench these un-American little gatherings.
I also can't help but wonder how many guns were transported in an illegal manner, and whether the "no questions asked" pledge would apply if they got pulled over and had their cars searched while en route to the turn-in?
And how can local police commit that federal law won't be enforced?

Will House Health Care Bill Create New Class of 'Prohibited Persons'?
"JCT Confirms Failure to Comply with Democrats’ Mandate Can Lead to 5 Years in Jail...Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.”Today's second Gun Rights Examiner column looks at a consequence of PelosiCare that I don't see anyone else pointing out.
If that's true, we need to look at U.S. Code, TITLE 18, PART I, CHAPTER 44, § 922, where we find:
"(g) It shall be unlawful for any person—
(1) who has been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year...to...possess in or affecting commerce, any firearm or ammunition; or to receive any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce." [More]

Blitzing Wolf
And they must say, that was a very soft target. You wonder if the shooter did not choose that place in part because it was a place for so many people in it. And so many people without weapons. [More]Yeah, you wonder.
I saw this the other day on CNN's "Situation Room" and haven't seen the video posted, but did find the transcript.
Sig Christenson blitzes Wolf with a eureka moment.
