S2/3 and G2/3 stuff. Guys working with this brief the colonels and generals, and help them keep track of the string and where it's going. When it works it's way out into the field, company commanders and platoon commanders will have the stuff to carry out orders effectively.
The acronym command is fulfilling its mission. The modern army runs on acronyms, now GTFG!
