Howard is quoted as saying she opposed efforts to change to an ordinance prohibiting guns in public parks to comply with a state law passed in 2007 and upheld by the Ohio Supreme Court in 2008, calling the idea that anyone would want to carry a concealed firearm in a public park "ridiculous."So she wanted to impose her ignorance and prejudice on others under force of law. Does anyone really think this "Republican" is "rethinking her stance" based on principle, as opposed to calculating political costs after party leaders pulled her aside and told her she needed to tone things down for the present? And notice she really didn't promise anything?

ReplyDeleteThat's how I look at carrying concealed. As insurance. I pray that I never need to use it, but it's there when I need it.
