We're the Only Ones Who Are Great Guys Enough

Well, there we have it--a police union official's definition of a "good cop."

Gee, with a character reference like that, it's almost enough to overlook that he ripped you guys off for >$75K.

Does 90 days and 3 years probation sound like something a non-"Only One" would get for embezzling a similar sum?

    Like most thieves, the SOB is willing to pay back the money he stole ... That is ... AFTER he got caught.

    The question to ask is: Would he have considered paying the money back if he hadn't been caught?

    But ... he's a good ol' boy. Yeah, my ass!
