My comment there; "As I have stated in other places on the web, the Feds lost any sliver of faith and/or belief I had in them at Ruby Ridge and Waco. I recall that they said the same things about all those people they murdered and ALL those allegations have since been proven false and no agent of the government has been punished or even indicted, except one and he was protected from prosecution, for the wanton murders they committed.
So I have a default position given me by those same Feds that is simply: They lied.
Unless and until I see evidence with my own eyes that I can verify hasn't been tampered with or invented my position is "They lied".
They are seeking an excuse to kill again as an object lesson to all the liberty leaning Americans they have disgusted and angered. It is that simple. It worked twice, why not stick with a plan that has a proven track record?
There is a certain amount of irony in sealed warrants. If the warrant was legal it contains evidence that was used to prove to a majistrate that there was probable cause. The word 'evidence' literally means (from the root) 'That which is seen.'

and why wouldn't I think them capable and willing to do it again?
ReplyDeleteMike Vanderboegh over at sipseystreetirregulars has linked to a few of his older postings recounting a spat involving the Hutaree folks:

... in that this sort of baiting behavior seems to have been par for the course during that time frame.
I, too, am of the opinion that the fedgov's reputation has been completely soiled, but that still leaves room for stupidity on both ends.

I thought it was "casus belli", a case for war, not "causus belli", a cause of war.
