ReplyDeletejon, The census takers earn their money when they talk to me. I ignore the mailed questionaire and refuse to answer most of the questions when the census taker comes to visit.
The Israelites were warned about the census, kings, and government employees many years ago. They didn't pay any attention then and most folks don't pay attention today.
History tells us that the brigands who serve the current warlord always eat pretty well.

If the private sector wasn't underpaying huge sums of common workers, government pay wouldn't be as far out of proportion.
