    I've always thought that one should never talk to cops without a lawyer, but nowadays, even lawyers scare me.

    Plenty of 2A-friendly attorneys who will fight hard for you. Mike Stollenwerk over at opencarry.org is now a practicing attorney (IIRC) -- I think he might be in PA. Virginia Citizens Defense League has got contact info for good attorneys if you're in VA. Do your research -- there are attorneys you can trust to fight for your rights and liberties.
