Field Report

In Arlington getting ready to take the shuttle to the mall for the 2A March, then will head on over to ther Restore the Constitution rally. Took part yesterday in a press conference on 2AM, met many of the principals in person for the first time, reconnected with Stewart Rhodes and then in the evening conferenced with the Merry Band and a reporter.

Oh, and an AP guy interviewed me last week about FFA and it was supposed to come out yesterday--gotta check and find that, no time now.

Will be back late tonight--please hold off on emails per my earlier post and please be forgiving if I do not answer anything sent during my absence.

I have a Gun Rights Examiner column I posted today on armed defense stories. Click the little dealy-bob over in the left margin and that will take you to my main page where you can access it. Sorry--outta time--gotta go.

  2. Found the AP article. Good job.

Will I open myself up to accusations of "hate speech," and "incitement to violence," if I tell you to "knock 'em dead" at the 2nd Amendment March and the Restore the Constitution Rally?

  3. Not a big fan of the right to free speech, Anon?

  5. Don't know of the "thugs" to whom you refer, or the "threats" they're supposedly making, or the "pensions," to which you refer, Anon--but I am impressed with your ability to talk out your backside.

Hey anon, you call them pensions, I call it recovering the money stolen from me over a lifetime of being robbed by the taxman.

  8. The saddest thing is only dozens showed up according to reports I've read.

    I am shamed.

God knows I'd rather have been there than going through the hell I did in the dental chair this morning.

Bravo to those who managed their time well enough to make it.

  9. Agitator-propagandist mean anything to you?

Most supporters have responsibilities to the welfare of their families.

We might not have been there physically, but we were there in spirit.

  10. Ah yes. So brave of you to post anonymously.

Funny to note that even if there were only 'dozens' of people at the events. That's still more than the anti's have been able to muster for their own protests.

I guess they were there in 'spirit' as well.

  12. Yes,it would have been nice to have a large turnout like they have at pro-illegal immigrant rallies. But as it's been said before many of us work to support obama voters. Anon, had he been alive during the revolution would have been against the patriots simply because they had low numbers. Parasites like him have been destroying this country for over 100 years. I sense fear in his posting as if he knows that all the entitlements he so desparately craves will soon go the way of global warming.

  13. Yeah, the big talkers are out.

Today was a pilot program. Nobody expected it to be big. It was on a Monday, for Pete's sake, there was a similar function, better advertised, right across the river, and the blogosphere has been alive with dire rumors and warnings for days. I don't blame anyone for shying away, it was a gamble, and for no really critical stakes. This event posed, and answered, the question: can liberty advocates stage an armed rally on federal property within sight of the Capitol, manage the media, and not get into trouble with the cops, or be plagued with provocateurs, or have confrontations with protesters.

The answer was a resounding "YES!". The organization and coordination with law enforcement and the park folks was superb, the participants showed their very high quality, first glimpses show we did well dealing with the media, and counter-demonstration was pitifully small.

I'm not at all disappointed in today's turnout. We showed that this concept works, and put the lie to the doomsayers and rumormongers. It will only get bigger from here.

Sorry anon, but obviously you are the proof you are wrong. You're listening. And you're scared. I like that.

Now, I will tell you that not all of us are as patient with your kind. I admit that I hate you and your ilk. I have always hated tyrants and their sycophants, all of them, of any stripe.

Were we what you accuse of being you would not be around to say it. No one here has wished harm on you. But you sure as Hell have wished harm on us. Well, cowboy, step and start the ball. Or STFU.
