Ubiquitous Chains?

Vanderboegh says "We are everywhere" and proposes a course of action.

MOWCA Blog...uh...vigorously disagrees.

UPDATE: Question to MOWCA: why the need for what looks to me like a character/motive attack in your argument?

  1. Points taken. Hell, I've got things to disagree with MBV on as well, and I fervently hope that some day I get the chance to set the man right on a couple of things. :-)

However, although I do agree with the point of the MOWCA post (c'mon...how else did we get to this sorry pass in the first place?), I think it misses the point that I got from MBV's "call".

For some time now Mike has been alluding to Threepers "being everywhere" by various means, and this latest idea is in no way different than his advocacy for, say, Oath Keepers. It seems overly simplistic, and not a little insulting, to suggest that Mike has suddenly become so afraid of consequences that he would advocate surrender in the form of assimilation. That's a cheap shot.

I certainly know that if I were in the middle of a personal cold war with the likes of the Federal apparatus that really would like MBV to succumb to his congestive heart failure, I would want to employ as many psychological tactics as I could--especially if I were still trying to avoid bloodshed. That is just exactly how the "we are everywhere" concept strikes me.

I assure you that if I ever detect a substantive compromise of principle in Mike's actions, I will be the first to simply walk away. But this ain't it. MBV has earned at least the right to a fair assessment, and I daresay he's done a hell of a lot more that's needed doing than any of his detractors.

  2. The person or persons who wrote the entry on MOWCA's blog obviously didn't do their homework on the IRA in general, and on Michael Collins and friends in particular. Not only did Collins have agents working within the establishment, he had two who were deeply embedded within it. The Man in the Castle, David Neligan, was one of them, Eamon Broy was another.

Really, folks, this stuff is easily discovered.

Many of us are older than the IRS has in mind, but many are not. If, say, a late 20's to 30 something guy with military experience were to apply, he'd have a good chance at being hired.

    David,

You were not there to watch EVERY member of the MOWCA either run, cooperate with the Feds, or refuse to testify.

I was not a member of the MOWCA, yet I ended up standing by Wayne throughout the entire process. When I see something I think is worth calling into question, I will call it into question.

My support of Wayne has cost me personally, and I have not received one thin dime for all my time and effort, neither have I asked for any recompense. I have heard all the big talk before — and watched those same individuals sell out or run when the Feds threatened them.

Sorry, no one is above question, and I reserve the right to challenge anyone over a strategy or tactic.

I did not personally attack Mike, I challenged him. I would like to see him PROVE his case with historical facts, not fictions.

  4. Paul--I do not have to know a THING about MOWCA to know that there are those who attack Vanderboegh by calling him "Red Mike" and the last line of this piece, either intentionally or coincidentally feeds into that. I think it could have been written in a way that makes the point without making implications.

  6. Screw the "MOWCA".

If I look at that post objectively, it
seems to be worthy of a "divide and conquer" tactic of the statists.

Keep beating on yer friends. Soon ye will have none...
