This is How He Pays Us Back

Gov. Brad Henry, worried about safety concerns, said trained and licensed Oklahomans already may protect themselves by carrying concealed handguns, and it doesn’t make anyone safer to wear a holster and display that weapon to others.

"On the contrary, it makes it more difficult and dangerous for law enforcement officers to try to sort out the good guys and bad guys when they arrive at a crime scene,” he said. [More]
Not the Brad Henry who was A rated and endorsed by NRA? Who ILA's Chris Cox said about:
"Your exemplary record of service as Governor of Oklahoma clearly illustrates your commitment to protecting the rights of law-abiding firearm owners and sportsmen. You have proven time and again to be a close ally and friend of Oklahoma's freedom-loving firearm owners."
I guess when you're term-limited out, you don't have to care about principle?

Like what he did here?

Exemplary.

Maybe we ought to start calling Brad "Kirsten"...

Or "Bill"...

Or "Joan"...

Or...say, maybe there's another way...?

Q: How can you tell they're lying?
    A: Their lips are moving.

what's difficult? instead of good guy dead and bad guy getting away now they have to "sort out" good guy safe and sound and bad guy dead.

pretty simple imo.. in fact if you can't sort that out pretty quick you probably shouldn't be in the Law Enforcement business.

  3. I'm sick of the whiners who care more about the convenience of cops than the safety of REAL people.

  4. Funny how the police and sheriff's department have no trouble telling the good guys from the bad ones here in Wyoming, or Arizona, or Vermont, or Alaska, or South Dakota, or...

And the few cops who DO have problems... It is because they are jealous "only ones."

    I rest my case.

  5. Isn't it a documented fact that the VAST majority of criminals that use guns carry them concealed?

Soooo It would seem to me that Open Carry screams "HEY I'm one of the good guys."

I mean it always signaled to me that someone at least had the forethought to purchase a holster and not stick it down the front of your pants.

  6. The Arizona governor should be held accountable at election day. No ifs, ands, or buts. This is straight out betrayal.

  7. Oklahoma. And as I understand it, he's termed out. But if he ever runs for anything else...

  8. An NRA "A" rating is a license to kill the second amendment.
