Not true at all, really. I don't want government employees teaching my children about guns, any more than I want them teaching the children about history, ethics or sex.

Get the government OUT of education, and then maybe our children can learn everything they need to know to live free.

Until then, we need to teach our children about guns OURSELVES.

  2. This is something the NRA would shine at accomplishing, IMO.

Too bad the 'Progressives' would never allow the NRA in the schools to do 'Firearm Safety programs'.

For 5 pages or $8.60 per page? Wow!

Of 102 respondents, 13% disapproved, 25% had no opinion, and 62% approved of the teaching of gun safety in schools.

Looks like a mandate to me.

Why is this considered any different from driver education, sex education, drug and alcohol abuse training, bully prevention, or traffic safety? Is this because 13% of the respondents want no part of this education?
