Cutbacks force police to curtail calls for some crimes [More]Gee, we're scaling down in my neck of the woods, too.
That's not necessarily a bad development for those of us under no illusions about the police protecting us. For others...
I'd like to think there will be an uptick in freedom, but experience hath shewn they'll likely focus on revenue generation activities at the expense of public safety--plus, the public employee union mentality means they'll have even crappier attitudes.

Just for the record:

Thanks again for the link.
Their attitudes can get crappier????
ReplyDeleteHere's what is not said. The police are backing off on some types of calls but they are stepping up traffic stops to shake down the public. Everywhere I look in southern Idaho I see cops pulling over motorist as never before. In fact the ISP just released a statement that starting Friday for the Labor Day weekend they will be pulling people over for anything and everything starting with seat belts not being used.
ReplyDeleteNever forget, cops are unionized parasites who can not make the kind of money they do as tax feeders in a private sector job. And they think they are better and smarter than the rest of us. You can't make this stuff up.
