We're the Only Ones Having Seizures Enough

According to an order filed by Judge Robert Foster Jr. in court last week, there is no evidence that the money seized was related to any criminal activity or that the clinic was operating illegally. [More]
God forbid the government should allow people to obtain pain relief.

  1. Sounds like somebody at the clinic got jealous/pissed off/ and told the cops where a lot of seizable cash was laying around. I remember when this "assests seizure" crap got started in the eighties, and how most everyone snored on.

  2. The mere presence of cash is suspicious these days. Hard to track, and that makes it difficult to interfere with one's freedom.
My mother died of small-cell lung cancer, six months from diagnosis to the end. She was one of the lucky ones, being able to afford Fentanyl and Oxycodone and have understanding doctors who let HER decide her own pain level. Anyone who had dared interfere with that would have been fresh meat.

  3. My wife is a chronic pain patient, suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, inoperable herniated disks and other issues. Trying to get enough prescription meds to keep her pain under control is a challenge.

God forbid that she take so much medication that she can actually move around without excruciating pain...
