Crackin' me up here, boss. Yeah, the first thing my sons would think of is taking away teachers' gun. Projection. And being a great example of the American Whussie. The US is not only overun with illegals, communists, and criminals, it is awash in cowards.
Another research-challenged college journalist who'll probably go into the biz. Attacks on schools in Israel have dropped practically to zero since teachers can go armed. Teachers with a gun LICENSE, true, which shouldn't be required, but ... This jerk wants a nice big bouquet of Columbine for everyone. Don't even ASK POLITELY for your rights BACK.
I let him have it by calling him out on his "Anyone with basic understanding" comment, saying that those with more advanced understanding tend to agree with the signs.
Let's hope the writer of that article takes time to actually read the comments. This one caught my eye:
Oh one other note for another anti gun fallacy, review of actual history by W. Eugene Hollon resulted in a book, "Frontier Violence Revisitied". This book using actual government data and records showed that during the heyday between 1870 to 1885 the so called wild west, the wildest of towns, Abilene, Dodge City, Tuscon etc, etc had only 45 deaths by firearms, or a rate of 1 per 100k people. Funny how today, towns and states with draconian gun laws or bans have rates between 6 to 10 per 100k, which can be referenced in the FBI UCR database. So again, was there a wild west, or is just another unsubstantiated fantasy fear of a few idiots who would rather believe dime novels and hollywood fantasy than the real facts?
