Fed Visit du Jour

I joked about starting the feature the other day.  Just got two in a row (click on graphics to enlarge).

The "0" seconds is a Site Meter property--unless the visitor clicks on another internal link, they don't measure duration. Looks like two different browsers at the same time?

UPDATE: Just to have a record...

UPDATE 2: To the OIG (BCC recipients not shown)

  2. Trying to get you to the 2 million visitor mark?

  3. Maybe there is a DOJ employee who likes reading your blog on his/her lunch break? I am a government employee and I like reading your blog in my downtime. After all my work is done, of course.

With the highest respect, it seems kinda silly to demand an investigation into why someone read your publicly published blog. If they were truly covertly monitoring your communications I'm sure they would have hid their I.P. and hacked into your hard drive.

I really enjoy your writings; I just think the fact that someone at the DOJ is reading your blog should be received as flattering rather than intrusive. If they are actually monitoring your speech, then you should take pride in knowing that you've stuck a thorn in their toe. If it is a DOJ employee who simply likes your blog, then we should all take hope in knowing that there is still some sanity left in the government.

  4. With all due respect, guys, you're going to have to reciprocate some as well, and understand there is more going on here. I consider this warranted, as do trusted others.

Would you like one of these for your desk?
