There was a shootout between rival gangs at the Texas State Fair a while back. A friend of mine was 10 feet from it when it started, and all he could do was grab the lady that was with him and take cover.
ReplyDeleteThese days, they have metal detectors at every entrance, and if you have CHL, you can show a supervisor your permit and walk right in armed. While I know the feelings on permits to exercise natural rights, at least they're allowing carry (no unpermitted open carry in Texas...yet).
