Smells like BS to me, but let's take it at face value for a moment. So if prospective parents could screen for it in order to abort affected fetuses, would the "progressives" try to pass a law against that?
Note, please, that liberals are described as having lots of friends during adolescence. The peer-pressure hive mentality. I knew some. They were generally the in-crowd, jocks and cheerleaders who tormented the different. Now they get paid to do it. Although ... a couple of them ended up in prison for killing their girlfrinds or wives at the end of abusive relationships. Control freak is a lifelong thing.

Actually, since it's a disability, they'll clearly be entitled to "reasonable accommodations" pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act....
