Will posting comments here put YOU on the government's watch list?

And now a tangentially-related development has been forwarded to me by a source I am keeping anonymous per request. The Kansas City Regional TEW Inter-Agency Analysis Center has prepared an "Intelligence Brief" for law enforcement based on Mike Vanderboegh's in-development novel, "Absolved." [More]
I was planning on doing just one post today on Gun Rights Examiner about the old GUNS Magazine issue, and then taking this beautiful Fall day off--but then a document fell in my lap that involves this website, Mike Vanderboegh's novel "Absolved," my GRE column, and those of you who comment here, there and in similar venues. Tie this all together with the father in New Hampshire whose tenuous Oath Keepers affiliation was exploited by child protective services, along with the merger of DHS with SPLC, and we have a convergence I could not ignore.

All this and giant pink pigs.

  1. If the only thing you are doing to get on a government "list" is posting comments here and on other blogs, then you are not doing enough for liberty.

That is why I always make sure to use my real name. Like John Hancock, I want the king to be able to read my signature.

  3. If one were to ask King George who he would most like to have removed from the Colonies as the Revolution neared, George Washington would have been well down the list.

Before him: Adams, Jefferson, and those other rabble-rousers who wielded pens rather than arms. These were the men who made the Revolution possible. Trigger-pullers are not the most dangerous people in a conflict, it is those who cause triggers to be pulled by discussing those pesky notions of Liberty, Freedom, et cetera.

This time is no different. The first Buses to Nowhere will be filled with writers, bloggers, rally coordinators, not Oath Keepers or FFL holders.

And the first buses will be filled before the general Patriot Community understands what is happening. Too late for those already on the buses...

Of course, it is not a bad thing that the Collectivists are so telegraphing their intent. It is not a bad thing that they are publicly warning their "enemies" that they will soon be coming. It is not a bad thing, for Patriots, that They are openly revealing their plans to sneak up on us...

I am curious: Are They really this stupid, or just confident?

  5. Well I reckon I've been on "the list" for a while now, given the things I've written on my blog. Might as well seal the deal! I ain't scared, I'm armed....

  6. Silly Mike Vanderboegh. Doesn't he know that if he wants to be ignored by the Eye of Sauron, he needs to intimidate voters with violence?

    As American as apple pie.

The Alinksy politicization of DHS "enemies list" has jihadis and marxists protected, and normal Americans targetted. It's a banana republic, where tyrants hire kleptocrats and enforcers to go after decent people, "to keep them in their place". King George had similar plans.

We constituted this government to protect our liberties, not to create a permanent standing army of enforcers in our midst, eating out our substance.

  8. Well, then. Can I call for the fascist, fifth-columnist douches monitoring these sites to some day enjoy a fair tribunal followed by swift public execution? Too much? Too soon?

Yes, I used my real initial and last name.

  10. Aw man, if I'm not already on the list I'm gonna be pissed; that means I've been wasting my time on all the other stuff.

We're already on some government list if we own guns. No doubt we're on that terrorist watch list for the same reason, let alone for wanting government to abide by the Constitution.

We'd better have our own SHTF lists as well.

  12. I'm already on their list, but this will give them something else to look into. The local police, state, DHS, ATF, and FBI have posted and received bolos regarding me keeping and bearings arms.
