Reading the linked article, I see where the TSA is quoted as saying that even private firms must comply with TSA-mandated "patdown procedures".

The question is: "Is a private firm exempt from lawsuit as the government is?"
Guess we'll find out. And if the government says they are, then it's time for the, uh ... our, gloves to come off.
