A repo man says he ended up arrested for doing his job. He told WFTV Friday, the problem came when he tried to repossess a car from a police officer. No doubt the cop who thinks he doesn't have to pay for property, and those who enforced this elite double standard, are just a few bad apples...?
Joe Ortiz said he had repossession papers in hand when he rang the door bell and the officer came out, yelling at him. When Rockledge police arrived, he was waiting on the street with no other witnesses.
Five months later, he was arrested for trespassing. [More]

I saw an interview with an entrepreneur who had lost her corporate job. She had the inspiration to open a donut shop across the street from a police station. A natural, right?
ReplyDelete"Then I found out that cops don't like to PAY for donuts."
Oh, the whole donut thing has been explained as: The police are so busy protecting and serving, they don't get meal breaks and need something that won't go bad if left for hours until they get a chance to get back to it.
Poor babies. Talk to any delivery driver. Plus, the delivery driver, no matter his or her age, is still just the "boy" or the "girl" from the beer distributorship, the dairy, the cleaners, and so on. And sometimes they get killed, too.
