A great essay, and a reality check for those who think LEOs would fall on our side of the fence in any civil unrest. The law is the law, and paychecks and peer pressure are a strong motivation. And if we're caught and tried, our juries will be composed of people who just want to get home to watch Maury Povich, Jerry Springer and "Jersey Shore."
The Von Mises Institute generally sticks to economic isses, but they are in a real sense Classical Liberals. I trust you understand what that actually means.
So, the fact that they would publish, in a blog, an essay discussing what we already know, that Cops misbehaving is Statism gone wild, is progress.
