Do I understand correctly, the woman was charged with bribing him and perjury in connection with their rendezvous at the motel? She was acquitted, but the fact that she was a co-defendant in an abuse of authority against her by a LEO is scary. This reminds me of that scene in an episode of "Blue Bloods" in which a gang leader and his crew threatened subway riders. "If you ride MY train, you gotta pay my toll!" The cops think it's THEIR streets.
