I was beginning to think they actually cared about this:

Until I read this, which is why they were moved to write this editorial in the first place:
"What's more, as many as 20 counties, including populous ones like El Paso and Douglas, don't enter any permit information into the database... The lapse means that information for 16,000 permit holders isn't available."
What do you call 16,000 gun owners missing from a list? A good start. Maybe Colorado is OK, once you get away from Denver.
