Ohio governor proposed licensing firearms possession

"The governor said Tuesday that the sale of a murder gun to a Cincinnati youth prompted him to advocate this course of action. He said he is looking into the possibility of asking the next legislature to make it a felony to obtain lethal weapons for minors and to require the licensing of firearms for private possession."     'Doesn't matter if it happened yesterday (1963) or today. Typical get a bigger hammer knee-jerk responce. The bottom line is,"Imposing a mandatory 'anything' on a situation like that usually accomplishes very little if 'nothing' other than making things very burdensom for everyone." E.G. Our illustrious TSA and their enhanced "pat down searches" and their great "scatter back all seeing eye x-ray radar scanners!!"
