Yeah. But he seems to have more balls (figuratively, as the suit obscured a lot) than a lot of folks. Similarly, the Guardian Angels aren't impervious, but their presence has helped to some degree.
"A man with a metal strip trying to pry open his car"?
From where I come, that tool is called a "Slim Jim". A reworked metal coat hanger is the field improvised version of the tool. It is useful for lifting a portion of the lock button mechanism to unlock the door without damage. No "prying" of metal, popping of locks or breaking of glass needed.
No one should be knocking things like this. Silly? Maybe. But it's real, it works, and it's a guy putting his ass on the line to help out ordinary individuals. Respect that, no matter what the guy is wearing.
It's not what he's wearing I'm concerned with, although it is ridiculous. It's what he's doing. And it doesn't work. It's foolhardy, and he's been extremely lucky so far. Aside from putting himself at risk, his ill-conceived and executed intervention ups the risks for those he's attempting to "save," which he has no right to do, because, bottom line, he will be absolutely powerless to do anything about it should events he sets in action go horribly wrong.

More than likely the "Only Ones" will prove his waterloo. After all they are the "Only Ones".
ReplyDeleteIn a time where balls are in short supply I'm not gainsaying anyone that proves they have a set.
He's probably stopped more crimes in progress than Lynwood PD. Look for him to be cited for stopping crimes without a license.
ReplyDeleteIt's Kick-Ass!
ReplyDeleteWonder if this is going to take off and pretty soon we'll have a bunch more out there?
ReplyDeleteSo - how long before he's arrested for wearing a mask in public?
ReplyDeleteIsn't he a vigilante? If he goes about stopping more crimes he'll be in BIG trouble soon. Can't have mundanes stopping crimes.
ReplyDeleteAnon - he's probably got a better chance of being shot than arrested.
"Masked man making furtive move shot 97 times by arresting officers." Film at eleven.
