Which leaves citizens who simply wish to protect themselves the terrible consequences of breaking the law and facing life-destroying penalties...[More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner column notes all guns "flowing" south aren't necessarily "bad".
Also get used to a new term and turn on that radio.
"(aside from the military and police..)"
ReplyDeleteDavid, what, pray tell, makes you think that the military and cops AREN'T outlaws? They acted as such in the Great New Orleans Gun Grab.
I'm glad to see you mention this aspect of the US/MX border and the fact that most people in Mexico don't have legal RKBA recourse to thuggery.
ReplyDeleteEdward Abbey once wrote along these lines - that every border crosser from Mexico should be stopped, given a rifle and a couple cases of ammunition, and sent home. That they'd know what to do with them and that they'd know who their friends were.
Of course - back when he wrote this the great majority of border crossers were campesinos - not coyotes, enforcers, and smugglers.
