The Safety Dance

We can dance if we want to...[Watch]

And don't you forget it.

Unbelievable how many authoritah-worshipers think they got what they asked for.  On a different continent, in a different time, we'd have called them "good Germans."

  1. Many years ago, I was in Washington DC standing in the level grassy area between the Reflecting Pool and the Washington Monument. A crowd was gathering. A leader of the government from Spain was landing in a USMC "white top" helicopter and then to be ferried around DC before going to the White House. A white shirted uniformed US National Park Police officer insisted to see the contents of my black nylon belt pouch, and was disappointed that it only contained a 35mm rangefinder camera (I told you it was many tears ago) and extra film, which had to be removed from the pouch for his inspection. I noticed that he had a U.S. Army Special Forces crossed arrows and "De Opresso Liber" pin on his collar. While smiling, I pointed out that I was unaware that the Park Police were allowed to wear any military insignia on their uniforms, and that if I did have anything of interest to him, it would be better concealed. For the next ten minutes until the departure of the limousines, I had my own personal, armed bodyguard standing facing me a few feet in front of me. Bonus! You need one in DC. He did not smile back.

WV: hypnisec - the amount of time give to you to comply with their suggestion.

  2. Much as I despise "Code Pink" and experience intense Schadenfreude at their misfortunes, I have to admit that the authoritah-worshippers are even more infuriating.

Still, it's good to know who the prodromal mutant zombie bikers are.

  3. David,

No winners in this one. This is the Devil playing against himself hoping we will take sides.

This is like Hitler's Germany against Stalin's Russia. No winners here. Taking sides here only traps one up in their stinking game.

Remember: They WANT you to choose sides.
