To Be or Not to Be?

Suicide rate in Alabama hits 51-year high [More]
Naturally, it's the fault of guns.

Just ask the disarmed Japanese.

I went back to your "Only Ones" link, and noticed the link to the CHP's part in the Great New Orleans Gun Grab. You suppose some of these suicides were a guilty conscience over that?

Naahhhh. Couldn't be. Cops have no conscience.

  2. They ran out of "HOPE" because of Obama and his crappy economy. Would it be too harsh to ask if more people are killing themselves because the liar in the White House and his failed economy are costing people their lives? I mean, when he's not getting people killed directly by supplying guns to murderous criminals?
That Shepard Fairey "HOPE" poster has a nauseating look to it these days, now that we know what has happened in the three year since the campaign, doesn't it? It should have said "SHIT", which though it might have been puzzling at the time, would now be making perfect sense.

  3. My comment to the Montgomery Advertiser:

"Health observers said several factors, including high unemployment and gun use contributed to the state's increase."

That's right. Blame the tool instead of the individual. It's sad when someone decides to commit suicide. It's even sadder (or evil) to use a suicide to advance an anti-gun agenda. That's called "dancing in the blood". Hope you sleep well tonight.
