If there are any old automatics someone needs to tell then tey are worth alot more than $100. If they can find a way to legally transfer it then can make several months rent or buy one huge crack rock with what they would get for it if it isn;t rusted out.
Is that a Raven? Looks a little like one. The only gun I have ever seen fire with out a finger on the trigger was a Raven that went off by racking the slide. Luckily it was pointed in a safe direction.
And did the popo have an ND?
